Wörle Takes Delivery of 100-Metre Ruthmann T 1000 HF Truck-Mounted Lift

30 Second Takeaway

Wörle has taken delivery of a 100-metre Ruthmann T 1000 HF, the tallest truck-mounted lift in its fleet, continuing a long-standing partnership with Ruthmann and reinforcing the company’s position in high-reach access rental.

100-Metre Truck-Mounted Lift Delivered

German rental company Wörle has taken delivery of a 100-metre Ruthmann T 1000 HF truck-mounted lift, becoming one of a small number of operators worldwide to run access platforms of this height.

The new lift represents a significant step up from the company’s previous flagship machine, a 70-metre Ruthmann truck mount, and further strengthens its capability in specialist high-reach applications.

Ruthman T 1000 HF Configuration and Performance

The Ruthmann T 1000 HF is effectively an extended version of the 90-metre T 900 HF, sharing the same fundamental design but with longer boom sections.

Key technical features include:

  • Five-section lower boom

  • Four-section upper boom

  • HF articulating jib

  • Maximum outreach: approximately 39 metres

  • Platform size: 3.82 metres x 970mm (extended)

The platform is equipped with a range of operator assistance systems, including:

  • DRS range optimisation

  • RTC service and telematics

Despite its size, the machine has an overall weight of 53 tonnes, achieved through the use of a standard five-axle truck chassis. The first T 1000 HF unit was delivered just over a year ago.

A Memorable Handover

The formal handover was anything but conventional. Joint managing directors Jörg and Felix Wörle marked the occasion by having the Ruthmann ‘Club of 100’ logo tattooed, before actively taking part in the boom installation.

A celebratory cake followed, and a large group of Ruthmann employees gathered to see the machine off as it left for its new home.

Long-Term Growth in High-Reach Access

Family-owned Wörle is based in Reimlingen, Bavaria, between Munich and Stuttgart. The company was established in the late 1980s by Stefan Wörle, with his son Jörg joining the business in 1992 as a driver.

The company began focusing more seriously on rental operations in 1994, starting with a 16-metre Denka lift. In 2005, Wörle acquired the Schneider aerial work platform rental business from Ehringen, doubling the size of its access fleet.

Its move into larger truck-mounted lifts began with a 40-metre Ruthmann T 400, a journey that has now culminated in the 100-metre T 1000 HF.

A Diverse Rental Fleet

Wörle’s rental fleet today includes:

  • Boom lifts

  • Scissor lifts

  • Spider lifts

  • Trailer-mounted lifts

  • Truck-mounted access platforms

In addition, the company supplies aluminium truck cranes, containers, and event and party equipment. Wörle is also a member of the PartnerLift association, a network of independent regional rental companies.

The business is now managed by Jörg Wörle and his son Felix, continuing the family’s multi-generation involvement in the access rental sector.
