Barnhart Expands Southwest Crane Operations with Acquisition of Crane Service Inc. Branches

Barnhart Crane & Rigging has acquired the El Paso and Albuquerque branches of Crane Service Inc., expanding its Southwest presence and enhancing crane, rigging, and transportation services across Texas and New Mexico.

The acquisition establishes Barnhart’s second location in Texas , complementing its Houston operation, while the Albuquerque assets will be integrated into Barnhart’s existing Albuquerque branch acquired in 2024 through the purchase of Mountain States Crane . The acquired operations provide: Crane rental and operation services Industrial machine moving Heavy haul transportation Rigging and specialized lifting solutions Approximately 45 experienced employees  will transition into Barnhart’s organization, ensuring continuity of service and preserving local expertise.
