Bray Cranes Expands Fleet with Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 and LTM 1090-4.2

Bray Cranes has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane, with a 90-tonne LTM 1090-4.2 set to join the fleet later this year.

30-Second Takeaway Bray Cranes has taken delivery of a 60-tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1, with a 90-tonne LTM 1090-4.2 due later this year. The investment continues the company’s expansion of its modern All Terrain crane fleet, supporting growing demand across the north east of England. Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 UK rental company Bray Cranes has taken delivery of a 60-tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane, with a 90-tonne LTM 1090-4.2 scheduled to arrive later this year. The addition strengthens the company’s fleet of modern Liebherr cranes and supports its continued growth in regional lifting operations. All Terrain Crane Capabilities The three-axle LTM 1060-3.1 is equipped with a six-section 48-metre main boom, which can be extended with a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway jib. This configuration provides a maximum tip height of more than 67 metres, along with up to 40 degrees of offset, offering versatility across a wide range of lifting applications. The crane can also carry its full 12.8 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s STGO regulations, which allow up to 16 tonnes per axle, improving transport efficiency and reducing the need for additional support vehicles. Ongoing Fleet Investment Strategy The new crane follows earlier additions at the end of 2024, when Bray Cranes introduced another LTM 1060-3.1 along with a 40-tonne LTM 1040-2.1. Managing director Neil Stephenson said “We are delighted to start the year off with the arrival of this new LTM 1060-3.1, expanding our fleet of modern Liebherr cranes. We tend to choose Liebherr cranes as they are not only reliable, but we also receive excellent back-up from the local field service engineers.” The upcoming arrival of the LTM 1090-4.2 will further enhance the company’s lifting capacity and jobsite flexibility.
