LGMG will unveil the ANSI/CSA version of its upgraded 125ft telescopic boom lift at Conexpo, expanding its Series 2 access platform lineup for the North American market.

30-Second Takeaway LGMG is set to launch the T125J-2, the ANSI/CSA version of its 125ft Series 2 telescopic boom lift, at Conexpo in March. Featuring a significant weight reduction, long outreach capabilities, and diesel or electric power options, the platform is designed to meet the demands of North American rental and construction markets. LGMG Expands Series 2 Line with 125ft ANSI Boom Lift LGMG will debut the ANSI/CSA-compliant T125J-2 telescopic boom lift at Conexpo, marking the North American launch of its upgraded 125ft boom. The model is the ANSI counterpart to the T38J-2 international version, with both platforms forming part of LGMG’s Series 2 range. Series 2 Development and Weight Reduction LGMG originally launched the T38J in mid-2024, with the Series 2 version making its European debut at Bauma later that year. One of the most significant updates compared to the 2024 model is a 1,600kg reduction in overall weight. To achieve this, LGMG removed standard four-wheel steering and slightly reduced outreach, balancing performance with transport efficiency and jobsite practicality. Performance and Working Envelope The diesel-powered, four-wheel drive T125J-2 / T38J-2 features a four-section telescopic boom topped by an articulating jib, delivering a maximum working height of 40.2 metres. Key performance specifications include: Maximum outreach: 22.3 metres with 300kg in the platform Maximum platform capacity: 450kg available at up to 21 metres of outreach An electric version of the platform is also available, supporting low-emission jobsite requirements. Transport Dimensions and Weight The Series 2 boom lift has a total operating weight of 19,100kg. Transport and stowed dimensions include: Overall width: 2.4 metres retracted, expanding to four metres with axles extended Overall transport length: Just under 12 metres with the jib stowed Stowed height: 2.74 metres Conexpo Manufacturing and Product Lineup Most of the access platforms displayed on the LGMG Conexpo stand will be manufactured at the company’s Mexico production facility, including scissor lifts and boom lifts up to 85ft. The stand will also showcase LGMG’s H1056 and H1256 North American-spec telehandlers, offering 17 metres of lift height, long wheelbases, wide chassis, and larger boom cross sections, tailored specifically for the North American market.
