Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH is harnessing the megatrend of digitalization to drive innovation, with a strong emphasis on customized, sustainable solutions that deliver measurable value to customers. Crane Finder with Enhanced Features The Crane Finder is designed to assist in identifying the most suitable crane for upcoming lifts and ensuring optimal equipment configuration. By simply entering essential data such as load requirements, height, and outreach, users can access a wide range of potential cranes. The application prioritizes selecting the smallest possible crane with minimal configuration, initially recommending the customer's own registered crane types via MyLiebherr. A new feature within the Crane Finder allows for even more precise crane selection based on specific job site conditions. For instance, if the crane operator is aware of limited space on-site, they can opt for a compact outrigger. Additionally, the application now enables users to lock in selected inputs, ensuring that specific configurations, like the small outrigger, remain unchanged even when other parameters are modified. Furthermore, starting at Bauma, users will be able to incorporate Liebherr mobile construction cranes (MK) into their job planning using the Crane Finder. The Crane Finder is available at no cost for all Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes and can be accessed on various devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones. Expanded Crane Portfolio in Crane Planner Crane Planner 2.0 is the ideal tool for dispatchers and engineering firms to meticulously plan crane deployments. It allows for detailed simulations of the lifting process, encompassing geometry, load capacities, utilization, and support forces, all rendered in true-to-scale 3D. Users can now import 3D construction site models in DWG and IFC formats into Crane Planner, enabling even more precise adaptations to real-world site conditions. For Bauma 2025, Liebherr has broadened its crane portfolio within Crane Planner, introducing 3D planning capabilities for the telescopic crawler crane, LTR 1150, as well as the LTC 1050-3.1 in telematics, rope, and electric versions. Users can choose from a total of 44 cranes, including 15 LTM cranes, two LTC cranes, one LTR, one LRT, and 26 cranes from Liebherr in Nenzing. Telemetry: Comprehensive Monitoring with “Performance” The "Performance" telemetry application empowers Liebherr customers with precise oversight of their crane fleet, enhancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability on construction sites. Whether in the office or on the move, customers can monitor real-time crane locations, evaluate current wind conditions for safe operations, and assess the weight of loads being lifted. The application also provides insights into fuel and AdBlue levels. Since 2023, Liebherr mobile cranes come standard with Liebherr Connect, a modem and SIM card enabling telemetry capabilities. Cranes manufactured from 2018 onward can also be retrofitted with a modem for Performance, provided they feature a Fleet Management system (FMS). Notably, data transmission via Liebherr Connect is complimentary for our global customers. The Performance application is currently accessible for LTM cranes through the MyLiebherr platform following the acquisition of a free license, with additional crane types set to be incorporated in the coming months. Digital Service Booklet At Bauma, Liebherr will unveil the concept of a new Digital Service Booklet. This innovative approach will streamline the maintenance and servicing of mobile cranes, offering both service technicians and equipment operators a user-friendly platform to manage service and maintenance information. This initiative will centralize all relevant data throughout the life cycle of a mobile crane, ensuring online accessibility at any time. The MyLiebherr platform will facilitate access to fleet equipment and maintain service records. The Digital Service Booklet will be progressively rolled out for new equipment types. Crane Simulator – Immersive 4D Training Experience Liebherr, in collaboration with Tenstar, introduces a mobile crane simulator designed to provide crane operators with effective training without utilizing cranes from the customer's fleet. This approach reduces costs and mitigates the risk of accidents during training sessions. The simulator, powered by electricity, also contributes positively to the carbon footprint. Featuring three screens, a control panel, a movable platform seat, and VR headsets, the simulator delivers an immersive training environment. The program supports 25 languages and includes various tutorials for practicing all crane functions such as slewing, lifting, telescoping, and luffing. Since its launch in 2024, the crane simulator has been successfully delivered to customers worldwide. Currently, it simulates superstructure operation using an LTM 1060-3.1, with plans underway for the development of undercarriage operation simulations. Together with Tenstar, Liebherr is also creating a comprehensive crane training platform featuring various crane models. Enhancing Engine Health with LiDIA The LiDIA diagnostic tool offers an efficient overview of all engine system information, including engine status with attachments, active and passive error codes, and current restrictions and responses. It is compatible with all mobile cranes equipped with a Liebherr engine that meets emissions level 4 or higher. Designed for daily maintenance and troubleshooting, LiDIA provides access to a broad range of diagnostic functions for the combustion engine. It facilitates secure and straightforward data transmission to customer service. With its intuitive interface, crane operators can independently conduct diagnostics, system tests, and minor repairs, optimizing equipment efficiency, maximizing engine availability, and reducing costs while eliminating the need for on-site maintenance. The LiDIA tool also enables service technicians to remotely access the engine for diagnostics. Key Digital Innovations on Display Crane Finder Smarter Crane Selection The updated Crane Finder  enables operators and planners to quickly identify the optimal crane for each lift by entering load, radius, and height requirements. New enhancements allow users to: Filter by jobsite constraints  such as compact outrigger configurations Lock critical parameters while adjusting others Plan lifts using mobile construction cranes (MK series)  for the first time The tool automatically prioritizes customer-owned cranes via MyLiebherr , ensuring cost-efficient and realistic planning. Crane Finder is free  for Liebherr mobile and crawler crane customers and accessible across desktop and mobile devices. Crane Planner 2.0 Expanded 3D Lift Planning Crane Planner 2.0  now supports 44 crane models , enabling highly detailed 3D lift simulations. New crane additions include: LTR 1150 telescopic crawler crane LTC 1050-3.1  (telematics, rope, and electric variants) Users can import DWG and IFC site models , evaluate support forces, boom geometries, and load capacities in true-to-scale 3D making it a powerful tool for dispatchers, engineers, and EPC contractors.
