U.S. Crane Industry Pushes Back on Section 232 Tariffs as Costs, Delays, and Safety Risks Mount
In U.S. trade law, Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 authorizes the government to impose tariffs on imports that may threaten national security. In 2018, the administration implemented Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum.
