First Liebherr LTM1150-5.3 (150t) Crane in Ireland.

The first Liebherr LTM1150 5.3

This week East Cork Crane Hire Ltd. welcomed the arrival of the First Ever Liebherr LTM1150-5.3 (150t) Crane into Ireland.

The new LTM1150-5.3 is the successor for the very successful and versatile LTM1130-5.1 (130t)

The new LTM1150-5.3 boasts an increase in lifting capacity over its predecessor and a longer 66m Telescopic Main Boom. It is also designed to be more fuel efficient and less noisy.

The new 150-tonne crane can achieve hook heights of up to 92 meters and radii of up to 72 meters with its Hydraulic Lattice Fly-Jib Extensions.

The investment of new Liebherr Cranes into our modern fleet allow our crews to cope with higher wind speeds than other Crane Hire companies due to the wind speed capacity tables incorporated into the design of the most modern cranes.

The new range of cranes from Liebherr also feature an array of modern features such as: VarioBaseĀ®, VarioBallastĀ®, ECOmode, ECOdrive, and Single-engine "Stage V Compliant" Technology which all help reduce fuel consumption, noise pollution, and carbon emissions - resulting in health benefits for the operators, crew and the local environments.
