CM Labs Adds Replay, AI Assistance and Live Results to Intellia Training System

30-Second Takeaway

Canadian simulator manufacturer CM Labs has expanded its Intellia Workforce Training System with three features supporting instructor-led equipment training. After-Action Review allows completed sessions to be replayed from different viewpoints, AI assistants support course planning and trainee guidance, and a Performance Leaderboard displays live class results. The additions are intended to help training organisations manage larger groups while maintaining personalised instruction.

CM Labs Intellia Workforce Training System

The CM Labs Intellia Workforce Training System has been expanded with new tools for reviewing simulator sessions, supporting instruction and monitoring class performance. The system handles course administration, exercise setup and trainee monitoring alongside the company’s training simulators.

The additions address different stages of training. Instructors can review completed exercises through session playback, use AI assistance for exercise selection and course planning, and access live class results through a dashboard.

CM Labs describes the wider Intellia system as an integrated training solution combining simulators, structured curriculum and training management software.

After-Action Review Enables Session Playback

After-Action Review records a training session for playback once the exercise has finished. During the replay, the instructor can move freely through the three-dimensional environment and observe the session from any angle.

This allows instructors to examine an exercise beyond the trainee’s original viewpoint. They can identify where tasks were completed correctly and where errors occurred, using the recording as a visual reference when discussing performance.

AI Assistants Support Instructors and Trainees

The update includes AI assistants for both instructors and trainees. The instructor version recommends exercises and helps with course planning, while the trainee version provides guidance during an exercise.

The two assistants serve distinct roles. One supports the preparation of training activities, while the other provides assistance as the trainee works through a simulated task.

Performance Leaderboard Displays Live Class Results

The Performance Leaderboard displays live results from the class on a dashboard accessible to the instructor. It gives trainers a consolidated view of trainee performance during a session.

Together with session playback and AI assistance, the dashboard extends the tools available for managing group instruction and reviewing individual progress.

Supporting Larger Training Programmes

CM Labs said the additions are intended to help training organisations accommodate growing demand for skilled operators while maintaining the quality of instruction.

Lisa Barbieri of CM Labs said:

“With demand for skilled operators continuing to grow, training programmes must expand capacity without compromising the quality of instruction or operator readiness. Taking advantage of these tools as part of the Intellia training system, organisations have the opportunity to help instructors deliver more personalised guidance, manage larger groups of trainees, and prepare operators across multiple equipment types.”
