Flynn Crane Hire Takes Delivery of Six-Axle Spierings SK1265-AT6 eLift in Ireland

30 Second Takeaway

Flynn Crane Hire has strengthened its Irish crane fleet with a six-axle Spierings SK1265-AT6 eLift, offering high-capacity lifting, extended reach, and electric crane operation. The delivery marks Flynn’s first new Spierings crane and highlights continued investment in modern mobile tower crane technology.

New Spierings SK1265-AT6 eLift Joins Flynn Crane Hire Fleet

Irish rental company Flynn Crane Hire has taken delivery of a six-axle Spierings SK1265-AT6 eLift self-erecting mobile tower crane, further expanding its mobile crane offering in Ireland.

The Spierings SK1265-AT6 eLift delivers a maximum lifting capacity of 10 tonnes, which it can handle at a radius of more than 13 metres. The crane features a 60-metre jib with a 1,700kg jib tip capacity at a 35-metre horizontal jib height, while maximum lift height reaches 64.2 metres with the jib luffed to 30 degrees.

Electric eLift Technology Supports Modern Jobsite Requirements

The SK1265-AT6 eLift is equipped with Spierings’ electric drive system, allowing crane operations to be carried out using external electric power rather than diesel, reducing emissions and on-site noise.

This capability makes the crane well-suited to urban construction, environmentally sensitive sites, and projects requiring low-emission lifting solutions.

Spierings Celebrates First Sale into Ireland

Spierings sales manager Tim Leech highlighted the significance of the delivery, which marks his first crane sale into the Irish market.

“I’d like to thank Colm Flynn, Roisin Flynn, Simon, and the team for my first sale into Ireland. I’m looking forward to many more from the Emerald Isle.”

First New Spierings Crane Impresses Flynn Team

While Flynn Crane Hire has operated Spierings self-erecting mobile tower cranes for many years, this delivery represents the company’s first brand-new Spierings crane.

“Although we have operated Spierings self-erectors for many years, this is our first ever brand-new example and it is already impressing our Spierings guru Peter O’Connell, who said, ‘I didn’t think it would be this good’ high praise for the Mighty Tiny indeed.”
