JCX80 Telescopic Crawler Crane: Compact Power Redefined

The Jekko JCX80 will make its official debut at Bauma 2025, marking a significant evolution in the company’s crane portfolio. Designed for projects requiring maximum flexibility in restricted spaces, the JCX80 combines compact dimensions with impressive lifting performance.

With a maximum lifting capacity of 8 tonnes and a reach of up to 27 metres, the JCX80 is ideally suited for:

  • Urban construction sites

  • Industrial facilities

  • Confined-access environments

  • Sensitive indoor and outdoor lifting operations

This new model represents Jekko’s strategic move into the telescopic crawler crane segment, extending beyond its established mini crane lineup.

Key Features of the Jekko JCX80

Stabilizer-Free Operation

The JCX80 is designed to operate without stabilizers, allowing it to function in extremely tight spaces where conventional cranes cannot deploy outriggers.

Lithium Battery Power

Powered by lithium battery technology, the JCX80 delivers low-noise, zero-emission operation meeting modern sustainability expectations for urban and indoor job sites.

Energy Recovery System

An innovative energy recovery system allows the crane to recharge its batteries during operation, extending working time and improving overall efficiency without frequent charging interruptions.

Advanced Operating Modes

The JCX80 introduces multiple intelligent operating modes, including “Pass-Over” mode, which enables the crane to elevate the mobile turret and move over obstacles—dramatically increasing jobsite adaptability.

MAXX – Mobile Assembly X-System: Automation Comes to the Jobsite

In addition to the JCX80, Jekko will showcase the MAXX – Mobile Assembly X-System, a visionary construction automation project and Category 5 Research finalist for the Bauma Innovation Award.

Developed in collaboration with:

  • RWTH Aachen University (Center Construction Robotics)

  • Construction Robotics GmbH

  • KUKA

  • Fundermax

MAXX introduces robotic automation concepts designed to:

  • Improve jobsite safety
