LiftSmart Launches New CL Series Compact Material Lifts at ARA Show 2026

30-Second Takeaway

LiftSmart has launched its new CL Series compact material lifts at the ARA Show 2026 in Orlando, Florida, targeting indoor and restricted-access lifting applications. The four-model lineup offers lift capacities from 158kg to 227kg and heights up to 3.7 metres, combining compact design with versatile features such as the Adjust-A-Base system, Smart Tilt, and Smart Latch. Developed in response to customer demand, the CL Series is built for durability and flexibility in rental environments, while the company also celebrated its 15-year anniversary with a product giveaway at the event.

LiftSmart Introduces CL Series for Compact Lifting Applications

U.S.-based manufacturer LiftSmart has officially launched its LiftSmart CL Series material lifts at the ARA Show in Orlando, Florida, expanding its portfolio of portable lifting solutions.

The new range has been specifically engineered for indoor use and confined job sites, where compact dimensions and ease of operation are critical.

Four Models Designed for Versatility

The LiftSmart CL Series material lifts includes four models tailored to different lifting requirements:

  • CL-4 – 1.2 m / 4 ft lift height

  • CL-8 – 2.4 m / 8 ft lift height

  • CL-10 – 3.1 m / 10 ft lift height

  • CL-12 – 3.7 m / 12 ft lift height

Across the range, lift capacities span from 158 kg to 227 kg, making the units suitable for a variety of light-duty material handling tasks.

The CL-8 base model features a compact footprint, with a stowed width of 690 mm, extendable to 1.07 metres, a length of 410 mm, and a stowed height of 1.75 metres, ensuring easy transport and maneuverability.

Innovative Features Enhance Usability

The LiftSmart CL Series material lifts incorporate several new features designed to improve usability, safety, and adaptability:

  • Adjust-A-Base system: Allows smaller models to convert to a straddle base configuration

  • Smart Latch: Automatic secondary locking system for secure transport

  • Smart Tilt: Integrated foot ramp for safer and easier tilting

  • Aluminium sheaves and cables: Durable and lightweight components

  • Integrated fork storage pockets: Improved convenience and organization

These features make the CL Series particularly well-suited for rental fleets and frequent jobsite use.

Customer-Driven Design for Rental Markets

LiftSmart emphasized that the development of the CL Series was directly influenced by customer feedback.

“This series came directly from listening to customers. They needed compact lifts that were durable, adaptable and built to last in rental environments,” said Steve Citron, Founder and Managing Director of LiftSmart.

The result is a product line focused on durability, flexibility, and ease of use, key requirements for rental companies and contractors working in tight spaces.

Celebrating 15 Years with Industry Giveaway

In addition to the product launch, LiftSmart marked its 15th anniversary by announcing a giveaway of a 4.8 m / 15.8 ft MLI-15 material lift at the ARA Show.

Attendees were invited to enter for free at the LiftSmart booth, with the winner to be announced during the event.

“The giveaway of our MLI-15 is a small thank you to the many ARA member companies who have supported our journey since it began at The ARA Show in 2011,” added Citron.

Supporting Growth with U.S.-Based Manufacturing

Founded in 2011, LiftSmart operates from its production facilities in Vista, California, where it continues to design and manufacture portable lifting equipment.

The launch of the LiftSmart CL Series material lifts reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving needs of the material handling and rental industries.
