Palazzani Appoints SNM Lift as Exclusive Distributor for France

30 Second Takeaway

Italian spider lift manufacturer Palazzani has signed a strategic partnership agreement with SNM Lift, granting the company exclusive distribution rights in France, including its overseas departments and territories. The agreement strengthens Palazzani’s presence in one of its most important foreign markets, with SNM Lift providing sales, aftersales service, parts, and training support.

Strategic Partnership Expands French Market Coverage

Palazzani has formalised a new strategic partnership with SNM Lift, appointing the French company as its exclusive distributor across France and its overseas territories.

The agreement is designed to deliver broader, more structured market coverage, combining Palazzani’s spider lift expertise with SNM Lift’s established national sales and service network.

Full Palazzani Spider Lift Range Available

Under the agreement, SNM Lift will offer Palazzani’s complete spider lift portfolio, ranging from:

  • The 16-metre TZJ 160 articulated spider lifts

  • To the 52-metre XTJ 52+ telescopic spider lift

In addition to equipment sales, SNM Lift will provide:

  • After-sales service

  • Spare parts supply

  • Operator and technical training

Support will be available for both new and existing Palazzani machines operating in France.

Established National Sales and Service Network

SNM Lift is headquartered in Vigneux-de-Bretagne, north of Nantes, with a second facility in Belleville-sur-Saône near Lyon. The company also operates mobile service teams covering Bordeaux, Paris, and Rouen/Le Havre, ensuring nationwide coverage.

Founded in 1981, SNM was appointed a Terex crane dealer for western France the following year. In 2010, the business was acquired by Vincent Galzin and current owner and chief executive Régis Morin. The SNM Lift aerial work platform division was established in 2013.

Broad Equipment Portfolio

Today, SNM operates through three primary divisions:

  • Cranes

  • Port handling equipment

  • SNM Lift – aerial work platforms

Its product portfolio includes Genie aerial work platforms, Unic spider cranes, Terex tower and rough terrain cranes, and Sany all terrain and crawler cranes. In 2021, Régis Morin became the company’s sole owner after acquiring Galzin’s share.

Leadership Commentary

“Becoming the official Palazzani importer fully aligns with the continuity of our import strategy, allowing us to offer our customers a complete range of products and services from leading brands that are perfectly complementary to our current portfolio.”

Laura Gasparini, Export Manager at Palazzani, added:
