Crane Hub Global: Evolution, Transition, and the Path Forward

Updated: Dec 29, 2025

Crane Hub has long been recognised as a bold disruptor in the crane and construction sector. Originally founded in the UK by entrepreneur Tristam Mayes, the Crane Hub concept gained early traction by creating a platform designed to connect crane operators, contractors, and developers with speed and scale.

Crane Hub Ltd. achieved notable visibility in the UK market before the company ceased trading in 2022. From that point forward, the original UK entity was no longer an active legal business.

Formation of Crane Hub Global

Following the closure of Crane Hub Ltd., discussions took place regarding the future of the brand and its intellectual property. As a result, a new US-based entity, Crane Hub Global LLC, was formed with the involvement of MenuFits, LLC, a US corporate and legal advisory firm founded by Meagan Wood.

All relevant intellectual property assets, including branding, platform concepts, and operational models, were formally transferred to Crane Hub Global LLC. The intention was to relaunch the brand with a global focus, supported by a more structured corporate framework.

Leadership Transition

During the early formation phase of Crane Hub Global, differences emerged regarding strategic direction, operational availability, and long-term commitments. As a result, Crane Hub Global proceeded forward under separate leadership, establishing a structure focused on full-time operational oversight and long-term global expansion.

Crane Hub Global has since operated independently of its original founder, while acknowledging the role played in the early conceptual stages of the brand.

In a statement, Crane Hub Global noted:

“We recognise the role played in the early Crane Hub concept. However, the future of Crane Hub Global requires full-time focus, operational transparency, and alignment with our global growth strategy.”

The Crane Hub Global Platform Today

Today, Crane Hub Global operates as an independent US-based company with a renewed focus on:

  • Global logistics and industry partnerships

  • Advanced digital directory services

  • AI-enabled technology initiatives

  • Integrated regulatory and compliance frameworks

  • Marketing and media partnerships tailored to the lifting and heavy equipment sector

The company’s relaunch at Bauma 2025 generated strong industry interest, reflecting continued market recognition of the Crane Hub brand and its evolving value proposition.

Looking Ahead

Crane Hub Global is currently expanding its platform capabilities, including:

  • Enhanced directory services

  • An expanded online marketplace

  • A new social media and marketplace application, scheduled for release on Apple App Store and Google Play by the end of the current quarter

These developments are supported by a content strategy focused on industry insight, people, and real-world operations, rather than traditional press release–driven messaging.

A Brand in Its Next Chapter

The evolution of Crane Hub Global reflects a broader reality within the construction and lifting industries: while vision can spark innovation, sustainable global growth depends on governance, operational discipline, and full-time commitment.

As Crane Hub Global continues to grow, the company remains focused on supporting the professionals and businesses that power the lifting industry every day.
