The attempt will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, bringing together thousands of attendees wearing high-visibility orange vests, with the goal of surpassing the current record of 2,499 participants.


The initiative is intended to spotlight the importance of safety culture across the construction sector while recognising the industry’s significant contribution to the US economy, estimated at US$2.2 trillion annually.


ConExpo 2026 Expected to Draw Global Attendance


Held every three years, ConExpo-Con/Agg runs from 3 to 7 March 2026 and is expected to attract nearly 140,000 attendees and more than 2,000 exhibitors from around the world.

The event will showcase the latest equipment, technology, and construction solutions from major manufacturers, alongside a speaker programme featuring companies including:

Show director Dana Wuesthoff said the record attempt represents more than just a numerical milestone.

She added that the moment is designed to honour the people and companies responsible for building critical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, airports, and stadiums, while reinforcing that safety remains a top priority across the sector.

Participants in the record attempt will receive commemorative safety vests and will be formally recognised for their role in the gathering.

The attempt will be officially adjudicated by Guinness World Records as part of ConExpo’s opening-day programming.
