Böcker AK 46/6000 Delivered to German Roofing Specialist

Hans-Dieter Büschkes, a long-established German roofing company, has added a Böcker AK 46/6000 aluminium truck crane to its fleet.

The new crane supports the company’s ongoing investment in modern lifting equipment, enhancing efficiency and safety for roofing, façade, and material-handling operations.

Compact Truck Crane with Impressive Reach

The Böcker AK 46/6000 is mounted on a three-axle Mercedes chassis and is designed to deliver high lifting performance while remaining easy to transport and deploy on site.

Key specifications include:

  • Six-tonne maximum lifting capacity

  • Four-section main boom

  • Three-section upper boom / luffing jib

  • Maximum tip height of 44 metres

  • Two-metre manual extension, increasing tip height to 46 metres

  • 400 kg lifting capacity at maximum extension

This configuration makes the crane particularly well suited to urban roofing projects and sites with limited access.

Fifth-Generation Leadership Oversees Crane Handover

The crane was collected directly from Böcker’s production facility in Euskirchen by Managing Director André Büschkes, a fifth-generation leader of the family-run business.

The handover included:

  • Operator training

  • A guided tour of Böcker’s production facility

  • Familiarisation with the crane’s operating and safety systems

The delivery reflects the company’s focus on hands-on training, technical understanding, and long-term equipment performance.

Supporting Specialist Roofing and Construction Work

With its lightweight aluminium boom design, high reach, and compact footprint, the AK 46/6000 enables Hans-Dieter Büschkes to safely and efficiently handle:

  • Roofing materials

  • Timber and construction components

  • Façade elements

  • Equipment placement at height

The crane provides a flexible solution that reduces reliance on scaffolding and manual handling, improving both productivity and site safety.
