LGMG has introduced the SP0307, a push-around scissor lift designed for low-level access work. The 10ft model offers a maximum working height of 4.95 metres and a platform capacity of 240kg. Its compact footprint and manually positioned design are intended for indoor work where operators need to move between tasks without using a larger self-propelled lift. LGMG UK’s Aron Westby said the company had already received a substantial response, with 150 machines delivered to one customer and another 100 on order.

New push-around platform targets indoor work

The SP0307 is designed for work where operators need an elevated platform but do not require a self-propelled lift. The machine is pushed manually into position, then raised using its battery-powered hydraulic system.

Its 2.95-metre platform height provides a maximum working height of 4.95 metres. The platform measures 1.26 metres by 576mm and is rated to carry 240kg, including the operator and tools.

Compact dimensions and equipment details

The SP0307 measures 1.41 metres long and 760mm wide. It stands 1.77 metres high when stowed with the guardrails raised and weighs 400kg.

The lift is powered by a 12V, 130Ah lead-acid battery. Reported standard equipment includes emergency descent, an emergency stop, automatic pothole protection, an audible alarm and an overload-resistant hydraulic system. It also has auto-locking wheels, forklift pockets and a swing-out component tray for access during maintenance. AC power at the platform and overload sensing are available as options.

LGMG identifies building maintenance, facilities management, construction finishing and mechanical and electrical installation as potential applications for the platform.

First orders point to UK demand

LGMG has introduced the SP0307 in the UK, where the company says demand for push-around low-level platforms has grown. Aron Westby of LGMG UK said one customer had taken delivery of the first 150 machines, with a further 100 on order.

“We have already seen exceptional demand for the new product. One customer took delivery of the first 150 machines last week, with a further 100 already on order. That's a remarkable response for a new product and demonstrates a UK market that is very buoyant,” said Westby.
