30-Second Takeaway

North West Access & Sales has expanded its access fleet with 10 Sinoboom 1530SE (0470SE) electric scissor lifts. The compact 15ft slab scissors offer a 6.5 metre working height indoors and 240kg platform capacity, supporting growing demand for low-level indoor access equipment across the North West of England.

Sinoboom 1530SE Electric Scissor Lifts

UK-based rental company North West Access & Sales has taken delivery of 10 new Sinoboom 1530SE slab electric scissor lifts, reinforcing its position in the compact access equipment segment.

The 1530SE also known as the 0470SE / 0407SE in some markets — is designed for low-level indoor and light-duty outdoor applications where compact dimensions and manoeuvrability are critical.

The new units have been added to support increasing demand for reliable, low-height electric access solutions across construction, fit-out, maintenance and facilities management projects.

Compact Slab Access for Urban Projects

Sinoboom 1530SE Specifications

The Sinoboom 1530SE offers:

  • Maximum working height of 6.5 metres (two persons indoors)

  • 5.8 metres (one person outdoors)

  • Maximum platform capacity of 240kg

  • Overall width of 780mm

  • Overall length of 1.42 metres

  • Stowed height of 1.97 metres

  • Total weight of 920kg

  • Standard 600mm roll-out deck extension

The narrow 780mm width allows the units to pass easily through standard doorways and operate in confined internal spaces such as offices, retail units, hospitals and schools.

With a total weight under one tonne, the machines are suitable for sensitive flooring environments while maintaining practical lift capacity for tools and materials.

Strengthening the Low-Level Access Fleet

North West Access stated:

“We are proud to add the brand new Sinoboom 1530SE’s to our growing fleet of access equipment.”

Founded in 2013, the Liverpool-based company has steadily expanded its fleet to serve contractors across the region. In addition to electric scissor lifts, North West Access operates:

  • Genie material lifts

  • Pop Up scissor lifts

  • Power towers

  • Ladders and scaffolding systems

With depots in Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington, the company focuses on compact and specialist access solutions tailored to urban construction and maintenance markets.

Demand for Compact Electric Scissors in the UK Market

The UK rental market continues to see steady demand for 15ft slab electric scissor lifts, particularly for:

  • Interior fit-out works

  • M&E installations

  • Maintenance contracts

  • Refurbishment projects

  • Retail and commercial property upgrades

The shift toward compact, electric-powered platforms reflects increasing emphasis on indoor emissions compliance, reduced noise levels and manoeuvrability in confined environments.

By adding 10 new 1530SE units, North West Access strengthens its offering in one of the most utilised height categories within the access rental sector.
