Hoeflon C6e Gen 2 joins Devon Lifting fleet
30 Second Takeaway
Devon Lifting has taken delivery of a three-tonne Hoeflon C6e Generation 2 mini crawler crane, replacing its first-generation C6e. The electric crane has a maximum tip height of 15.5 metres with the jib fitted and can lift 210kg at its maximum 13.7-metre radius. Generation 2 adds automatic outrigger setup and levelling, automatic boom stowage and unfolding, and updated control software. Its jib capacity has increased to 1,050kg.

Devon Lifting replaces first-generation C6e
UK rental company Devon Lifting has added a Hoeflon C6e Generation 2 to its fleet, replacing its C6e Generation 1. The crane was purchased through Hoeflon dealer Crowland Cranes.
The C6e is a compact, electrically powered mini crawler crane. Its 760mm width allows it to pass through narrow access routes, while its 2,850kg operating weight allows transport on a two-axle trailer behind a 4x4.
Generation 2 adds automatic setup features
The C6e Gen 2 retains the model’s three-tonne maximum lifting capacity and adds automatic outrigger setup and levelling. The boom can also stow and unfold automatically, simplifying the transition between transport and working configurations.
Updated software is designed to improve lifting performance, particularly when using the jib. The jib’s capacity has increased from 900kg to 1,050kg, and the hook block has been redesigned.
Compact dimensions with jib and reach options
With the jib fitted, the crane reaches a maximum tip height of 15.5 metres and can handle 210kg at a maximum radius of 13.7 metres.
Without the jib, the C6e Gen 2 measures 2.98 metres long. Overall stowed height is 1.86 metres, and width is 760mm. Its total weight is 2,850kg.
Devon Lifting welcomes fleet upgrade
“The upgrades on the new Generation 2 C6e make this truly the best machine available in class. Our previous C6e proved to be a very reliable and versatile machine, fitting in very well within our growing rental fleet. The new machine and the technical upgrades enable us to provide our customers with the best equipment to meet their needs with efficiency and reliability,” said Brian Sheehan of Devon Lifting.
