The new model has been engineered specifically to meet the operational, regulatory, and environmental expectations of the United States and Canada, reflecting a targeted approach to one of the world’s most demanding lifting markets.


First Product Launch Under Raimondi North America


The TRT 55US debut represents the first product launch under Raimondi North America, the Group’s newly established U.S. operations hub led by President Andreas Ernst.


The entity was created to strengthen Raimondi’s regional presence and to provide customers with:

  • Market-specific product development

  • Enhanced service and customer support


Engineered in Italy with North American Input


Designed and developed in Italy by the Terex Rough Terrain engineering team, the TRT 55US builds on the proven foundations of the Terex rough terrain crane range.

The crane integrates direct feedback from North American customers, resulting in a 55-ton class machine that balances compact transport dimensions, enhanced versatility, and long-term jobsite efficiency.


Boom, Jib, and Operator Enhancements


The TRT 55US features a redesigned operator environment focused on improved ergonomics and usability, along with an additional jib configuration to expand lifting flexibility.


Key performance highlights include:

  • Maximum jib length: 122.7 ft

  • Three-mode telescoping boom system

  • Proportional Telescoping Boom mode for simplified operation and improved precision

  • Maximum tip height:

    • 130 ft with main boom

    • 157.5 ft with optional 26.25 ft jib


These features are designed to improve performance across a wide range of lifting scenarios.
