Wolffkran has appointed Mark Evans as sales director for the UK and Ireland. His return follows an international career spanning crane sales, business development and executive leadership. Wolffkran says his experience will support customer relationships, commercial growth and its position in the UK market.

Mark Evans Returns to Wolffkran

Tower crane manufacturer and rental group Wolffkran has appointed Mark Evans as its new sales director for the UK and Ireland. Evans previously served as managing director of Wolffkran Arabia in Dubai. He now returns to the group with more than three decades of experience across the crane industry, including work in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Wolffkran announced the appointment on September 9, 2026. Its UK and Ireland leadership team lists Evans as sales director alongside managing director Dave Holder.

A Career Across Crane Manufacturers and International Markets

Evans began his crane industry career in 1995 with Demag and Terex in the UK. After approximately 12 years, he joined Wolffkran Arabia as managing director, relocating to Dubai. He spent three years leading the business before returning to the UK and rejoining Terex Cranes as a regional sales manager.

At the end of 2012, Evans moved to Kobelco, where he led the UK business for approximately 11 years. He subsequently joined Amorum in 2024 before his latest appointment at Wolffkran. His career brings together experience in equipment sales, regional business management and leadership across several crane manufacturers.

Supporting UK and Ireland Sales Growth

The appointment strengthens Wolffkran’s commercial leadership for the UK and Ireland, with an emphasis on customer relationships and continued business development.

Wolffkran UK managing director Dave Holder said:

“We are delighted to welcome Mark back to Wolffkran. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge, leadership experience, and a strong customer focused approach that will support our continued growth and strengthen our position in the UK market.”

Evans’ previous leadership role within Wolffkran gives him familiarity with the group, alongside the wider manufacturer and customer experience developed throughout his career.

Building on Equipment, Service and Technical Support

Commenting on his return, Evans highlighted Wolffkran’s combination of tower crane equipment, service and technical support.

“I am excited to return to Wolffkran and the UK market. Wolffkran has always been recognised as a leader in the tower crane industry, combining high quality equipment with exceptional service and technical support, so I am honoured to be joining the team,” he said.
“I look forward to working with our customers and colleagues to build on the company's strong reputation and continued success.”
