Felbermayr Expands Heavy Assembly Capabilities with Hoffmann Equipment Acquisition

Felbermayr Group has strengthened its heavy assembly and engineered solutions capabilities following the acquisition of specialised equipment from Hoffmann Spezialtransporte.

Acquisition includes 1,000 tonne gantry systems and transporters The acquisition significantly enhances Felbermayr heavy assembly capabilities , with key additions including two heavy-duty lifting gantries , each with a capacity of 1,000 tonnes . The deal also includes Sefiro self-propelled transporters , along with a large inventory of steel beams and structural components  used in complex heavy installation operations. The gantry systems will primarily be deployed within Felbermayr’s Engineered Solutions division  and by Jozef Hermans , supporting large-scale lifting and installation projects.
