Wiesbauer lifts 100-tonne steel plates onto the new Neckar valley bridge with Liebherr LR 1700-1.0 and LTM 1650-8.1
High above the Neckar valley, an impressive project is currently under construction: as part of the new Horb bypass, the Karlsruhe Regional Council is building a 667 metre long and around 65 metre high bridge, which will carry the B32 federal road over the Neckar in future. Two Liebherr cranes from Wiesbauer GmbH & Co. KG - an LR 1700-1.0 crawler crane and an LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane - were used to install solid steel plates on the underside of the two carriageway spans.

First Liebherr MK 120-5.1E installs emergency roofs in Bern
Swiss company Zaugg AG Rohrbach put the first Liebherr MK 120-5.1E delivered by Liebherr into operation this summer. The brand new mobile construction crane made its debut in the narrow streets of Bern's old town. At a height of around 20 metres and with a reach of up to 45 metres, the crane positioned temporary roofs over two construction sites – entirely powered by electricity.

Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 adds another floor to pediatric clinic
Wiesbauer GmbH & Co. KG, a large crane and heavy haulage company based in southern Germany, added a new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane to its fleet last summer. The crane was delivered with both versions of the telescopic equipment with lengths of 50 and 80 metres. The first deployment with the long T5 boom took place recently. The crane lifted large construction modules for a future school onto the flat roof of a clinic building.
