30th Liebherr Marks Major Fleet Milestone


Dewsbury & Proud has taken delivery of its 30th Liebherr All Terrain crane, a 90-tonne LTM 1090-4.2, underlining a long-standing relationship with the German manufacturer.


The crane forms part of a six-unit Liebherr order, which also includes:

  • Two 60-tonne LTM 1060-3.1 cranes

  • Two 40-tonne LTM 1040-2.1 cranes

  • One 150-tonne LTM 1150-5.4


LTM 1090-4.2 Specifications and Performance


The four-axle LTM 1090-4.2 is equipped with a 60-metre main boom, complemented by a 9.5 to 16-metre bi-fold swingaway extension with manual offset. This configuration delivers a maximum tip height of just under 80 metres, supporting a wide range of construction and infrastructure lifting applications.


Standard features include:

  • VarioBase® variable outrigger setup

  • Remote control system

  • Ecodrive and Ecomode systems, improving fuel efficiency while reducing emissions and noise levels

The crane was officially handed over at Liebherr’s Biggleswade facility, attended by Tim and Ellie Proud, alongside Paul Goodall of Liebherr.
