First Hoeflon Delivery of 2025

Southern Cranes has taken delivery of its first Hoeflon machine of 2025 with the arrival of a Hoeflon C10e, a fully electric mini crane designed for compact, emission-free lifting operations.

The 4-tonne capacity crane joins an expanding Hoeflon range within the Southern Cranes fleet, which is now topped by the Hoeflon C30e, the manufacturer’s largest model with an 8-tonne lifting capacity.

Hoeflon C10e: Compact, Electric and Versatile

High Performance in Confined Spaces

The Hoeflon C10e offers a working height of 22 metres and a maximum working radius of more than 19 metres, delivering impressive performance for a crane of its size.

Southern Cranes’ new unit was supplied in full specification, including:

  • Jib attachments

  • Hydraulic luffing fly jib

  • Wire rope hoist

This configuration enables the crane to tackle a wide range of lifting applications, from glazing and steelwork to internal installations and restricted-access sites.

Remote Control and Flexible Outriggers

Designed for Precision and Access

The C10e is operated via a full remote-control system, giving operators precise control while maintaining clear sightlines around the lift.

Hoeflon’s multi-position outrigger system, combined with a hydraulically extending removable counterweight, allows the crane’s gross transport weight to be reduced to just 3,260 kg. This significantly improves access to sites with limited load-bearing capacity and simplifies transport logistics.

Commitment to an All-Electric Mini Crane Fleet

Sustainability Meets Capability

Ben Sadler of Southern Cranes commented on the latest addition:

“The addition of this new C10e marks our seventh Hoeflon machine purchased and officially makes our mini crane fleet 100% electric, reinforcing our commitment to investing in the most advanced and sustainable mini cranes on the market. We are dedicated to providing our customers with the best equipment to meet their needs with efficiency and reliability.”

He also acknowledged the support of the supplier:

“A huge thank you to Andy and the team at Hoeflon UK for ensuring a seamless purchase process. Their service made everything run smoothly, meeting all our requirements without a hitch.”

Strengthening Low-Emission Lifting Capability

Supporting Modern Construction Requirements

With increasing demand for low-noise, zero-emission equipment in urban, indoor and environmentally sensitive locations, the addition of the Hoeflon C10e further strengthens Southern Cranes’ ability to support modern construction and industrial projects across the UK.
