MAX Trailer Expands Portfolio with Launch of MAX810 Semi Low Loader

30 Second Takeaway

MAX Trailer has strengthened its product portfolio with the introduction of the MAX810 semi low loader, a new model designed to open up additional transport applications while maintaining a strong focus on flexibility, efficiency and payload performance. Featuring a modular design, low tare weight and advanced axle technology, the MAX810 targets operators handling demanding heavy and oversized loads.

Demand for Flexible Heavy Transport Solutions

Across the heavy transport sector, operators are increasingly seeking trailers that combine high payload capacity with flexibility and low tare weight. As transport tasks diversify ranging from heavy machinery and industrial components to wind energy and infrastructure elements equipment must adapt quickly to different load configurations and route requirements.

Manufacturers are responding by developing modular trailer concepts that reduce operating costs while maintaining manoeuvrability, durability and safety. The launch of the MAX810 semi low loader reflects this shift toward versatile, multi-application transport solutions.

Modular Design Opens New Service Areas

MAX Trailer has introduced the MAX810, a semi low loader developed to extend the company’s range into new transport applications that demand high versatility combined with minimal own weight. According to the manufacturer, the model was designed to deliver maximum operational flexibility without compromising MAX Trailer’s established quality standards.

The vehicle concept is based on a modular system that allows multiple combinations of gooseneck, front bogie and loading platform. This enables operators to configure the trailer to suit a wide variety of transport scenarios, supporting efficient deployment across different job types.

Configurable Axle Layout and Gooseneck Design

The MAX810 features a loading platform with six or seven axles and is available in both single and double extendable versions. Depending on operational requirements, the trailer can be coupled directly to the gooseneck or extended using a two- or three-axle front bogie.

The hydraulically liftable and lowerable gooseneck is designed for a technical fifth wheel load of 38 tonnes and is compatible with both 6×4 and 8×4 tractor units. A forced steering system ensures precise handling and excellent manoeuvrability, including when reversing, without the need for manual steering intervention.

Advanced Pendle-Axle Technology and Low Loading Height

A key technical feature of the MAX810 is its high-performance 17.5-inch pendle-axle system, offering a 600 mm stroke, a steering angle of up to 60 degrees and a low loading height of just 800 mm.

This combination provides strong stability and mobility, even on challenging terrain, while remaining well suited for transporting high and heavy loads. Hydraulic functions such as driving height adjustment and axle alignment can be operated via radio remote control, supporting efficient and precise operation.

Built for Heavy and Oversized Transport

Designed for the transport of heavy machinery, bridge elements, wind turbine components and industrial parts, the MAX810 semi low loader can be equipped with hydraulic ramps and multiple lashing options to suit different cargo types.

Full metallisation of the trailer provides enhanced corrosion protection, ensuring long-term durability in demanding operating environments. MAX Trailer positions the MAX810 as a new benchmark in its class, combining cost efficiency, user-friendliness and advanced engineering.
