United Rentals Recognises Skyjack with 2025 Supplier of the Year Award


United Rentals has recognised Skyjack, a division of Linamar Corporation (TSX: LNR), with its 2025 Supplier of the Year Award, presented during the rental company’s annual supplier event held in St. Louis, Missouri.


The event took place on 10–11 January, bringing together United Rentals’ key equipment partners and industry representatives. Skyjack was selected based on its continued collaboration with United Rentals in supplying access and material handling equipment across the rental company’s extensive fleet.


Recognition of Quality and Collaboration


Commenting on the award, T.J. Mahoney, vice president of supply chain for United Rentals, Inc., highlighted Skyjack’s performance and partnership approach:

“We are pleased to recognise Skyjack as our Supplier of the Year. As a valued equipment partner, they have consistently demonstrated a high standard of quality, reliability and operational excellence. Their commitment to meeting our business requirements, supporting our rental fleet and maintaining a strong collaborative partnership has contributed meaningfully to our continued success.”

Mahoney added that United Rentals appreciates Skyjack’s dedication and professionalism and looks forward to continuing the partnership.

Accepting the award on behalf of Skyjack, George Fitchett, senior vice president of national accounts, underlined the importance of close collaboration with rental customers:

“We appreciate this recognition of our entire team’s passion for delivering simply reliable equipment and exceptional customer support,” Fitchett added.
