Federservizi Palazzani Spider Cranes Expand Rental Capabilities in Italy

30-Second Takeaway

Italian rental company Federservizi has strengthened its aerial platform fleet with two new Palazzani spider cranes, the TZJ180 (18 metre) and XTJ32 (32 metre). Designed for challenging terrain and uneven job sites, both models deliver strong working height, outreach, and compact dimensions. The investment reflects Federservizi’s continued focus on performance-driven equipment suited to the mountainous regions of northern Italy.

Federservizi Palazzani Spider Lifts Strengthen Fleet for Challenging Terrain

Italian rental company Federservizi has taken delivery of two new Palazzani spider cranes, further enhancing its capabilities in aerial work platform rental and access solutions. The additions include the 18 metre TZJ180 and the 32 metre XTJ32, arriving a decade after the company first invested in Palazzani equipment at the Saie Bologna trade fair in 2016.

Palazzani TZJ180 Delivers Compact Performance

The Palazzani TZJ180, launched at Bauma last year, offers an 18 metre working height with 8.2 metres of outreach at an up-and-over height of eight metres, while maintaining an unrestricted platform capacity of 230kg.

Key specifications include:

  • Stowed width of 775mm, extending to 955mm on site

  • Overall length of 5.28 metres

  • Total weight of 2,500kg

  • Outrigger spread of three metres

Its compact dimensions make it ideal for confined job sites and restricted access environments.

Palazzani XTJ32 Provides Extended Reach and Versatility

The Palazzani XTJ32 delivers higher capacity and reach, with a 32 metre working height and 14.5 metres of outreach at an up-and-over height of 24.5 metres with a 120kg basket load.

Additional capabilities include:

  • Maximum platform capacity of 330kg at up to 12 metres outreach

  • Stowed width of 1.1 metres, extending to 1.4 metres

  • Overall length of 6.9 metres

  • Total weight of 5,940kg

This model is designed for more demanding applications requiring extended reach and higher load capacity.

Designed for Mountainous and Uneven Job Sites

Federservizi general manager Martina Tomasi said:

“As a rental company, the XTJ 32 and TZJ 180 are practical models for the types of work carried out by our customers. Being located in Trentino-Alto Adige, our customers typically face sites with uneven ground and significant slopes, so in terms of working height and performance, they are ideal for their needs.”

Strengthening Collaboration with Palazzani

Paola Palazzani added:

“We are proud to strengthen our collaboration with Federservizi, a dynamic company focused on service quality. The choice of the TZJ180 and XTJ32 models confirms our range’s ability to meet the real needs of the professional rental sector, even in the most complex environments.”
