Mountain Crane Becomes Tadano Distributor for the Pacific Northwest Following Lennon Crane Acquisition

Mountain Crane acquisition expands Pacific Northwest presence


Salt Lake City, Utah–based Mountain Crane Service has completed the acquisition of Lennon Crane and Equipment Company, strengthening its position in the North American crane rental and sales market. The deal also transfers Tadano distributor responsibilities in Washington and Oregon to Mountain.


The transaction supports expanded equipment availability, technical expertise, and customer service across the region.


Tadano distributorship transitions to Mountain Crane

As part of the acquisition, Mountain Crane will represent the Tadano GR, GT, GTC, and AC crane lines throughout Washington and Oregon. To ensure uninterrupted support,


Mountain has already placed a significant Tadano stock order, covering equipment, parts, and service requirements.


Both companies confirmed there will be no disruption to customers during the transition.


Lennon Crane operations to continue with bare rentals and sales


Under the new structure, Lennon Crane will continue to focus on late-model bare rentals and the sale of new and used cranes in the Pacific Northwest. There are no plans to introduce operated or taxi crane services in the region.

“Our core business in the Pacific Northwest will remain the same,”

said Scott Lennon.

“We are excited to continue as a Tadano distributor and represent the GR, GT, GTC, and AC lines under the Mountain name.”

Leadership comments on the partnership


Paul Belcher, Chief Executive Officer of Mountain Crane Service, highlighted the strategic fit of the acquisition.

“Good things happen when good people get together,” Belcher said. “By combining our strengths, we can expand equipment availability, technical expertise, and industry-leading service for our customers.”

Daniel Melnyk, Vice President of Sales, North America at Tadano America, welcomed the transition.

“This partnership reinforces our commitment to providing continuity and excellence to our customers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond,” Melnyk said.
