Paola Palazzani Departs as Multitel Completes Palazzani Acquisition
30-Second Takeaway
Paola Palazzani is leaving Palazzani Industrie after nearly three decades with the company. Her departure follows Multitel Pagliero’s completion of its full acquisition, building on the majority stake purchased in May 2026. Multitel plans a gradual integration of the businesses while retaining Palazzani’s brand identity and specialist access equipment expertise.

Paola Palazzani Announces Departure
Paola Palazzani has announced her departure from Palazzani Industrie, closing a 29-year chapter with the business founded by her grandfather. The announcement follows Multitel Pagliero’s completion of the acquisition on September 23, 2026. Multitel now owns the entire share capital of Palazzani Industrie, having initially acquired a controlling stake in May.
In a brief statement, Palazzani said:
“After 29 years, the time has come to begin a new chapter in my life. Thank you to everyone who has crossed my path.”
She has not announced her next professional role.
Nearly Three Decades in the Family Business
Palazzani served as the company’s sales director from 1997 until March 2024, when she succeeded her father, Davide Palazzani, as president. She subsequently served as chief executive from May 2026, during the transition following Multitel’s purchase of a majority stake.
Her career spans the development of a family-owned manufacturer recognised for its tracked spider lifts and specialist access equipment. She also celebrated the company’s 90th anniversary in June 2025. Alongside her company responsibilities, Palazzani has served as a director of the International Powered Access Federation, IPAF.
Multitel Takes Full Ownership
The September transaction completes the ownership process announced in May and begins a further phase of integration. Multitel’s truck-mounted aerial platforms are complemented by Palazzani’s tracked platforms and specialist access solutions, broadening the group’s equipment offering.
The companies’ commercial integration has already progressed in France, Spain and the United Kingdom, where Multitel subsidiaries began directly marketing the Palazzani tracked platform range in August.
Integration Focuses on Expertise and Customer Support
Roberto Marangoni, Multitel Group’s global marketing and international sales director, said the integration would extend beyond combining equipment portfolios.
“Integration does not simply mean bringing two product ranges together. It means bringing together and enhancing different skills, experience and areas of specialisation within a shared vision.”
He said the companies would develop their commercial, technical and service capabilities together, drawing on the identities and experience established by both manufacturers.
For customers, the integration is intended to provide a broader equipment offering supported by closer coordination between the businesses.
Palazzani Brand to Evolve Gradually
Palazzani’s visual identity will also change progressively as the company becomes more closely integrated into Multitel.
According to Marangoni, the brand will retain recognisable elements while introducing selected features associated with Multitel, creating a visible connection between the companies.
“This will be a measured evolution, designed to create a clear visual connection between the two companies without altering the distinctive personality of the Palazzani brand.”
The updated identity will be introduced across business activities and communication materials over time.
