JLG’s 2025 Milestones Signal a Stronger, Smarter Future for Access Equipment

30-Second Takeaway

JLG Industries closed out 2025 with strategic investments that reinforce its leadership in access equipment. From expanding U.S.-based facilities and RESET/Reconditioning Centers to rolling out productivity-driven platform innovations, enhanced digital support tools, and deeper integration with AUSA, JLG is focused on one clear goal: helping fleets, contractors, and operators work safer, smarter, and with less downtime as the industry heads into 2026.

A Year of Purposeful Growth for a Market Leader

In an industry where uptime, safety, and innovation directly impact profitability, JLG Industries has spent 2025 reinforcing the foundation it built more than five decades ago. The Oshkosh Corporation business marked the year with strategic expansions, customer-driven product innovations, and lifecycle support enhancements aimed squarely at real-world jobsite challenges across North America.

“For more than 55 years, JLG has remained focused on advancing the access industry,” said Tim Morris, Chief Commercial Officer at JLG. “Our actions this year reflect our continued commitment to the customers and industries that rely on JLG equipment to work safely and efficiently at height.”

Expanding Infrastructure to Support Long-Term Demand

JLG’s 2025 investments made one thing clear: the company is betting on long-term growth and doing so close to its customers.

A new 113,000-square-foot facility in Frederick, Maryland is now fully operational, serving as a hub for product development, innovation, equipment testing, and cross-functional collaboration. The expansion provides capacity to accelerate future product initiatives while keeping engineering and testing tightly aligned.

At the same time, JLG expanded its RESET and Reconditioning footprint, strengthening options for fleets looking to extend machine life and manage capital costs:

  • Hiram, Georgia: Added 22,000 sq. ft. of RESET production space

  • Fort Worth, Texas: New RESET facility coming online in early 2026 with 15,000 sq. ft.

  • Houston, Texas: Opened a 120,000 sq. ft. Reconditioning Center

These facilities support JLG’s Certified Pre-Owned and reconditioning programs, delivering factory-approved machines backed by JLG warranties an increasingly important option for rental houses and contractors navigating tight equipment markets.

Product Innovations Built for Real Jobsite Constraints

Rather than focusing on headline-grabbing concepts alone, JLG’s 2025 product updates emphasized practical productivity gains. Among the highlights:

Narrow Platform for Confined Access

Designed for residential and urban work, the new 31-in x 48-in Narrow Platform enables operation in spaces as tight as 36 inches between structures. With a 500-lb capacity, integrated tool storage, lighting, and charging ports, it targets service providers working where traditional platforms simply don’t fit.

Mid-Rail Deck for Overhead Reach

Steel erection and maintenance crews often face overhead obstacles that limit usable height. The Mid-Rail Deck accessory adds 19.5 inches of working height inside the platform without modifications or safety compromises and is removable and transport-ready.

Rapid Replaceable Platform

Downtime is one of the costliest challenges for fleets. JLG’s Rapid Replaceable Platform cuts replacement time from hours to just 15–20 minutes, keeping machines productive while maintaining full rated capacity and compatibility with approved accessories.

“These options enhance productivity, safety, and serviceability on job sites,” Morris noted, reinforcing JLG’s focus on customer-inspired innovation.

Lifecycle Support: Reducing Downtime with Smarter Tools

Beyond equipment, JLG continued investing in how customers access support.

In 2025, the company expanded its omnichannel customer support model, combining self-service resources, contact centers, field service providers, and product experts. Customers can already access troubleshooting guidance through JLG’s Online Express Knowledge Base, while AI-powered tools like virtual assistance and voice-to-text are enhancing response efficiency.

Looking ahead to early 2026, JLG will begin rolling out machine-specific QR codes across select models. These codes provide instant access to serial number–specific documentation, including parts catalogs, service bulletins, manuals, and schematics—right at the machine. When every minute of downtime counts, faster access to accurate information can be a competitive advantage.

AUSA Integration Strengthens the Portfolio

2025 also marked the one-year anniversary of AUSA joining the JLG family, expanding JLG’s presence in compact and material handling equipment.

The integration brings together two brands aligned around durability, engineering quality, and customer support broadening solutions available to North American customers without diluting standards.

What’s Ahead for 2026

Momentum from 2025 is carrying directly into the new year. JLG plans to showcase its “Job Site of the Future” concepts and new product solutions at major industry events, including CES, World of Concrete, The ARA Show, and CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

The focus remains clear: advancing productivity, safety, technology, and lifecycle solutions as jobsite demands continue to evolve.
