The Sarilar Group has successfully received a new Liebherr LR 1700-1.0 crawler crane. During its inaugural assignment at the wind farm located near Isparta, this crane, equipped with a 126-meter-long boom, demonstrated its impressive capabilities. Sarilar selected the LR 1700-1.0 due to its versatility in assembling all wind turbines across Turkey. Additionally, the compatibility of boom sections with various crawler cranes is a vital factor, allowing for the utilization of equipment components from the LR 1600 on the LR 1700-1.0 W.

The Liebherr LR 1700-1.0: A Fusion of Innovation and Performance.

The LR 1700-1.0 seamlessly integrates the cost-effective transportation advantages of 600-tonne (660 USt) class crawler cranes with the exceptional performance of 750-tonne (825 USt) class lattice boom cranes. This model incorporates the latest advancements from Liebherr’s recent crawler crane innovations.

Engineered based on the dimensions of the LR 1600/2, the LR 1700-1.0 boasts significantly enhanced lifting capacity. It allows for the utilization of numerous components from the LR 1600/2, thereby optimizing efficiency.

At the heart of the LR 1700-1.0's impressive performance lies its newly redesigned base machine, which offers up to 15 percent greater lifting capacity. The structural steelwork for the crawler carriers has been meticulously reinforced, and the dimensions of the rollers have been increased to reduce wear during movement on the crawler travel gear. The standard 4-way drive system enhances maneuverability.

Additionally, the modern derrick system is equipped with the innovative V-frame®, VarioTray®, and the new “M-Wagon®” modular ballast trailer, which is compatible not only with the LR 1700-1.0 but also with the LR 1800-1.0 and the LR 11000.
