US-based crane manufacturer Link-Belt has appointed Nathan Ramsey as marketing specialist for Rough Terrain cranes.


In his new role, Ramsey will provide marketing and sales support for Link-Belt’s Rough Terrain crane line, working closely with internal teams and distributor sales organisations to support product positioning and customer engagement.


Background and Industry Experience


Ramsey joins Link-Belt from EnSiteUSA, an inspection and engineering services company, where he worked as a mechanical engineer from October 2022.


He began his career in 2011 with oil and gas services company Weatherford, progressing through several technical and field-based roles including:

  • Field engineer

  • Wireline engineer

  • Project engineer


In 2015, he moved to Energy Management Corp, a machinery manufacturing company, where he worked as a sales applications engineer.

Ramsey later joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in 2016, initially as a durability test engineer, before being promoted to road test simulator durability engineer.

In 2020, he pursued entrepreneurship, building a business focused on buying and selling classic cars, before returning to engineering in 2022 when he joined EnSiteUSA.

Commenting on the appointment, Kelly Fiechter, product manager for Rough Terrain cranes at Link-Belt, said:
