Schmid Takes Delivery of Electric Böcker AHK 36e Trailer Crane

30 Second Takeaway

German access and lifting specialist Schmid Hebebühnenverleih has taken delivery of a Böcker AHK 36e electric trailer crane, reinforcing its commitment to low-emission, environmentally friendly lifting solutions. With a two-tonne capacity and a tip height of nearly 35 metres, the compact electric crane supports Schmid’s long-term goal of transitioning its fleet to sustainable equipment.

Electric Böcker Trailer Crane Joins “Green Schmid” Fleet

Munich-based rental company Schmid Hebebühnenverleih has expanded its fleet with the addition of a Böcker AHK 36e electric trailer crane.

The new crane aligns with Schmid’s “Green Schmid” initiative, under which the company is progressively converting its fleet to the most environmentally friendly lifting and access equipment available.

Compact Electric Crane with Strong Performance

The Böcker AHK 36e is a fully electric trailer-mounted crane designed for quiet, emission-free operation, making it ideal for urban, indoor, and environmentally sensitive sites.

Key performance details include:

  • Two-tonne maximum lifting capacity

  • Three-section main boom

  • Three-section luffing jib

  • Two-metre manual extension

  • Maximum tip height of almost 35 metres

  • 250 kg at a radius of 23.1 metres and a height of 21 metres

  • Two tonnes at a radius of 5.4 metres

  • 1,000 kg at a radius of 10 metres

This configuration provides a strong balance of reach, lifting power, and compact transport, particularly for confined or low-impact sites.

Supporting Sustainable Lifting Operations

The electric drive system of the AHK 36e enables zero local emissions, reduced noise, and lower operating costs compared with conventional combustion-powered cranes.

These characteristics make the crane especially well suited to:

  • City-centre construction

  • Indoor lifting

  • Maintenance and installation work

  • Noise-restricted environments

The new crane supports Schmid’s strategy of offering customers sustainable alternatives without compromising on performance.

Regional Rental Specialist with a Green Focus

Schmid Hebebühnenverleih operates from its headquarters in Munich, with additional depots in Augsburg and Landsberg.

Its fleet includes:

  • Aerial work platforms

  • Spider cranes

  • Trailer cranes
