Versalift Launches New V-Range of 3.5-Tonne Truck Mounted Lifts

30-Second Takeaway

Versalift has introduced the V-Range, a new seven-model lineup of 3.5-tonne truck mounted lifts designed for the European market. The platforms offer working heights from 17 to 27 metres and feature a modular design, standardised control systems and integrated telematics. The new range is aimed at rental fleets, utility providers, municipalities and telecommunications operators seeking reliable and cost-effective vehicle mounted access equipment.

Versalift Introduces New V-Range Access Platform Series

Versalift has launched a new series of 3.5-tonne truck mounted aerial lifts, branded as the V-Range, for distribution throughout Europe.

The new lineup includes seven models offering working heights between 17 and 27 metres, all mounted on standard 3.5-tonne vehicle chassis. The machines will be marketed under both the Versalift and France Elévateur brands.

The company plans to roll out the new models progressively throughout the year.

The V-Range has been developed to serve a wide range of industries including:

  • Rental companies

  • Utility service providers

  • Municipal maintenance teams

  • Telecommunications infrastructure operators

By combining lightweight vehicle platforms with increased working heights, the new machines are designed to offer flexibility for urban maintenance and infrastructure applications.

Seven Models Cover Working Heights from 17 to 27 Metres

The V-Range includes a mix of telescopic and articulated boom designs to accommodate different access requirements.

The seven models include:

  • V-170 – 17 metre telescopic lift

  • V-200 – 20 metre telescopic lift

  • VA-200-F – 20 metre articulated lift with jib

  • V-230 – 23 metre telescopic lift

  • VA-240 – 24 metre articulated lift

  • V-250-F – 25 metre telescopic lift with jib

  • V-270 – 27 metre telescopic lift

One of the highlighted units in the range is the 20 metre VA-200-F articulated platform, designed to provide additional reach flexibility through its articulated boom and jib configuration.

The machines are installed on standard 3.5-tonne chassis, allowing operators to maintain compact transport dimensions while still achieving significant working heights.

Standardised Systems Improve Fleet Efficiency

All models in the V-Range share a common proportional control system, as well as unified

hydraulic and electrical architecture.

Versalift says this high level of standardisation helps simplify fleet management and reduce operational complexity for equipment owners.

The shared platform architecture can help:

  • Streamline operator training

  • Simplify maintenance procedures

  • Reduce spare parts inventory requirements

  • Lower technician training needs

For rental fleets and utility contractors managing multiple machines, standardisation can significantly improve operational efficiency and fleet reliability.

Integrated Telematics Enables Remote Monitoring

Each V-Range unit is equipped with Real Time Connect telematics as standard.

The telematics platform allows fleet managers to remotely monitor equipment performance and receive diagnostic information.

Key capabilities include:

  • Remote machine monitoring

  • Fault detection and diagnostics

  • Operational data tracking

  • Faster troubleshooting and service response

These digital tools are designed to help operators reduce equipment downtime and maintain consistent performance across their fleets.

Modular Design Supports Competitive Pricing

The V-Range has also been developed with a modular design approach, helping Versalift streamline manufacturing while maintaining consistent component integration across the product lineup.

According to the company, this modular system makes production more efficient and allows the machines to be priced competitively while reducing total cost of ownership.

Chief Commercial Officer Uwe Strotmann said the new range responds directly to market demand.

“Customers have been asking for reliable, cost-effective 3.5 tonne vehicle mounted access platforms. The V-Range is our answer and a clear signal that Versalift intends to lead this market sector.”
