Wiesbauer Tadano AC 7.450-1 All Terrain Crane Strengthens Fleet Expansion
German crane rental company Wiesbauer has taken delivery of its second Tadano AC 7.450-1 All Terrain crane, further enhancing its ability to handle complex and high-capacity lifting projects. The seven-axle 450 tonne crane joins the very first AC 7.450-1 unit delivered, underlining the company’s confidence in the model’s performance and versatility.
High Performance and Flexible Configuration
The Tadano AC 7.450-1 is equipped with a seven-section 80 metre main boom and offers multiple extension configurations:
Up to 59 metres of extensions (130 metre tip height)
Combined extensions with fixed offset jib reaching 133 metres
81 metre luffing jib with SSL Sideways Superlift system
The crane also features a maximum counterweight of 150 tonnes, enabling it to handle demanding lifting applications across a range of sectors.
Advanced Technology for Confined Job Sites
A key feature of the Wiesbauer Tadano AC 7.450-1 All Terrain crane is the Surround View system, which uses six cameras to provide a computer-assisted display in the operator’s cab.
This system allows operators to:
Visualize the maximum outrigger extension in real time
Optimize crane positioning on restricted job sites
Achieve the best possible load chart for the working conditions
Managing director Florian Wiesbauer said:
“The AC 7.450-1 is definitely a significantly more powerful alternative to other six axle cranes currently on the market. Especially since we often work on confined construction sites, this system is extremely helpful: it supports us in positioning the crane quickly and safely in the optimal way.”
Continued Investment in Fleet Growth
The new crane was handed over at Tadano’s facility in Zweibrücken, Germany, with several company representatives in attendance, including former Tadano sales manager Michael Zieger, who initiated the original sale prior to his retirement.
The delivery follows closely behind the recent addition of a fourth 300 tonne Grove crane, highlighting Wiesbauer’s ongoing investment in expanding its fleet capabilities.
