Nolo 2000 Takes Delivery of 71-Metre Multitel MJE 710 Truck-Mounted Platform

30-Second Takeaway

Italian rental specialist Nolo 2000 has expanded its access fleet with a 71-metre Multitel MJE 710 truck-mounted platform, now the company’s flagship machine and only the second of its type operating in Italy. The investment reflects continued demand for high-reach, high-performance access equipment in the Italian rental market.

71-Metre Multitel Becomes New Flagship for Nolo 2000

Italian rental company Nolo 2000 has taken delivery of a Multitel MJE 710 truck-mounted platform, offering a maximum working height of 70.6 metres. The machine becomes the company’s new flagship and is the second MJE 710 delivered in Italy, following the first unit supplied to Ciemme Noleggio in November last year.

The MJE 710 was officially unveiled at Bauma in April, marking Multitel’s entry into the ultra-high-reach truck-mounted access segment.

MJE 710 Offers High Reach and Variable Outreach

The Multitel MJE 710 features a:

  • Five-section lower boom

  • Three-section upper boom

  • Articulating jib

This configuration provides:

  • 70.6 metres maximum working height

  • 30.1 metres outreach with 600 kg

  • 33.4 metres outreach with 320 kg

  • 37 metres outreach with 100 kg

The platform is designed to combine long reach with flexible load performance for demanding access applications.

Investment Supports Fleet Expansion Strategy

Nolo 2000 owner Simone Schianchi said the decision to invest in the MJE 710 was driven by performance and usability:

“The investment in this machine results from our desire to expand our fleet with a work platform that combines high performance with easy operation.”

He added that long-term experience with the manufacturer influenced the purchase:

“Over the years, we have always benefited from the reliability of the Multitel machines and a support service that has guaranteed uninterrupted operation.”

Factory Visit and Operator Training in Manta

A Nolo 2000 team visited Multitel’s headquarters in Manta, south of Turin, to collect the platform. The visit included operator training and a tour of the manufacturing facility.

Multitel sales manager Alessandro Blanchi highlighted the long-standing relationship between the two companies:

“The addition of the MJE 710 to Nolo’s fleet, with whom we have been working for over 10 years, confirms our shared success story.”

He added:

“This platform perfectly combines performance, compactness and advanced technology solutions, and we are confident that it will fully meet the operational needs of the company.”
