Swelift Expands Access Fleet with 14 New Niftylift Electric and Hybrid Boom Lifts

30 Second Takeaway

Swedish rental company Swelift has strengthened its access fleet with the addition of 14 new Niftylift boom lifts, all electric or hybrid powered. Ordered at Bauma Munich, the machines support Swelift’s ongoing move toward sustainable access equipment and reinforce its long-standing partnership with Niftylift, which now spans more than two decades.

More Niftylifts for Swelift

Swelift, a leading Swedish access equipment rental company, has taken delivery of 14 new Niftylift boom lifts, expanding its growing fleet of electric and hybrid powered MEWPs.

The order was placed at Bauma in Munich in April and includes a range of Niftylift boom models designed to support both indoor and outdoor applications across Sweden.

All units have now been delivered and are heading out to work.

Boom Lift Models Included in the Order

The latest fleet addition includes the following Niftylift boom lifts:

  • 30ft Niftylift HR12NE

  • 50ft Niftylift HR17N

  • 63ft Niftylift HR21

  • 86ft Niftylift HR28

All 14 machines are either fully electric or hybrid powered, supporting low-emission operation, reduced noise levels, and improved suitability for urban and environmentally sensitive job sites.

Sustainability and Long-Term Partnership

Swelift has worked with Niftylift for more than 20 years, with collaboration accelerating in recent years as Swelift increases its focus on hybrid and electric access equipment in line with its sustainability goals.

The entire transaction was carried out directly between Niftylift and Swelift, reflecting a new regional policy by the manufacturer to work directly with customers to provide faster support and closer collaboration.

The deal was concluded at Bauma, with representatives from both companies present.

Leadership Perspectives

Commenting on the delivery, Swelift chief executive Joel Schönning said:

“Our partnership with Niftylift has always been based on trust, innovation and transparency. These new machines give us the opportunity to serve our Swedish customers with the latest, most sustainable technology.”

Mark van Oosten of Niftylift added:

“At Niftylift, we believe that looking after customers directly gives them the fastest and most effective support. Swelift’s commitment at Bauma and the successful completion of this order are perfect examples of how we want to work worldwide: directly, efficiently and with long-term trust.”
